Dear Mr. President:
We request immediate action to negotiate a treaty that makes deep cuts in nuclear weapons stockpiles; to ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT); and to secure all vulnerable nuclear material in Russia. If we do not make substantial progress on these goals in the next 15 months, the greatest opportunity to reduce the danger of nuclear weapons since the dawn of the Atomic Age will have passed us by. This is unacceptable to millions of Americans and people all over the world who hope for a safer, more secure future.
Please work to cut the nuclear threat today!
