Al Franken For Senate
The Council for a Livable World endorses Al Franken to represent Minnesota in the 2008 Senate. Al Franken advocates for setting a time table to bring U.S. troops home from Iraq, opposes building a new generation of nuclear weapons, and supports a nuclear test ban treaty. Al Franken is in the progressive tradition of Minnesota democratic leaders.
