Amber Cruz is the Contributions Coordinator and Office Manager at the Council for a Livable World where she manages the smooth operation of the offices, ensures proper organization and recording of contributions, communicates with campaigns regarding fundraising and works regularly with donors.
Prior to joining the Council, Cruz worked as an Event Coordinator for a private event planning company in the Salem, Oregon, the state’s capital, where she planned a variety of events including non-profit fundraisers. She has also interned with several political campaigns and State Representatives in both Oregon and Washington. Most recently Cruz worked with the finance team for U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, who was the first person in Oregon to successfully unseat the incumbent senator in 40 years. Currently, she volunteers with a couple women’s organizations in Washington, D.C. to plan fundraising and outreach events.
Cruz holds a B.A. in Politics from Willamette University in Oregon.
