U. Marie Garvin is the Financial Controller at the Council for a Livable World where she maintains accurate reporting for the Center in accordance with IRS regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
Prior to joining the Council, Garvin spent time as a Controller at Bacharach Investment Management, as a Property Accountant at the Mills Corporation, as a Staff Accountant at the Public Risk Management Association, and as a Financial Management Intern at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City.
Garvin holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Howard University.
